chillin with the kidz

It's easier to write this in mini sections so i'm gonna do that

1. The kids, still amused by my being chinese and having a hard time remembering my name have just started calling me china sir.

2. i told one of the kids that it was too hot. he said "yes, three hot"

3. here fart noises are still funny, in fact they're still funny well into your teens and it's not just a boy thing, the girls find it just as hilarious. we literally heard the girls sitting and making farting noises by blowing on their arms for like 25 minutes.

4. In one of the temples yesterday there was an elephant. if you gave him a coin he'd take it in his trunk, then touch you on the head with his trunk. it was awesome.

5. it's totally crazy how businesses run here. They employ way too many people but i guess you gotta hire your family?

• a video store the size of a cubicle, maybe a cubicle and a half, had 6 people working there
• one of the main men's clothing stores, not much bigger than a 3 story mcdonalds had easily 30-40 people working per floor. so when you're looking for stuff at least 4 people are around trying to help you. They somehow utilize this by having you take the clothes to one person who write you a receipt and then sends them down a dumbwaiter to the first floor. then you take the receipt to a central kiosk to pay and have it stamped, then you take said receipt to the ground floor to get your clothes. so basically at least 7 people go in to every purchase

6. i have a totally sweet heat rash on my neck. it sucks

7. you travel a lot here by autorickshaw. Felix has this one particular one saved on his phone as "part rickshaw" the dude has huge speakers and a color changing lamp in his. pretty pimped out.

8. the cows seem restless today, you can hear faint mooing in the background

but yeaaaa it's still mad hot. beer here sucks. snacks here rule (fried curried cashews ftw!)
